Bearing Working Principle

1. In modern paper machine, all bearings are connected to the circulating oil system in order to improve operational reliability and to facilitate maintenance. The wet part of old paper machine (with low working temperature) is sometimes also lubricated with grease. The rope sheave, the spreader roll and the guide roller of the cadres are also lubricated with grease.

2. During the whole bearing working period, the high cleanliness determines bearing length. This requires excellent sealing reliability, in particular moisture-proof sealing and different sealing design methods depending on the roller type.
